About Billy
I graduated from City University (London) in 2006 with a BSc (Honours) in Mathematical Science with Computer Science, and I'm currently doing a postgraduate certificate in mathematics at Birkbeck College (University of London) on a part time basis, which I will complete in June 2019. I recently completed my level 3 Award in Education and Training (formerly PTLLS) and I have begun working as a functional skills and GCSE maths lecturer at Barking and Dagenham College. I have always loved mathematics and computer programming subjects and as such I have been tutoring with this site since 2014. I also do some voluntary software development work for a software company - Alpine Interactive - and the technologies we work with include C#, C++, HTML5 and other web development languages. Hence I have always been enthusiastic about mathematics and computer programming subjects and I appreciate any opportunity I get to share my knowledge of these subjects with students, thank you. Perfect! Excellent first session
Billy demonstrates excellent knowledge of his subject, he quickly engaged my son (14) who enjoyed the session and did far more in the hour than he would have done if he was revising on his own. Billy is polite, patient, explains clearly and gave me and my son useful feedback. He also gave my son a tester Maths session and it's clear that he is passionate about Mathematics. I will surely be using him to help my son prepare for his GCSE. From parent to parent I highly recommend Billy for anyone looking for a good tutor.
