About George
I am a university student studying law and economics. My reason for wanting to teach is that I noticed many students throughout the school process losing out on easy marks in exams by not understanding what it is that gains them the marks in a subjects mark scheme. I believe it is important to understand how much knowledge, application and analysis you need to demonstrate for each question in order to not make the mistake of knowing content, but not knowing how to answer questions.

I believe understanding how examiners award marks is equally important to a firm grasp of the content of economics. My approach is to work through topics, firstly ensuring understanding of the content, then working through specific exam questions. Many students revise economics for hours without truly understanding how to apply their knowledge to questions in order to maximise their marks. This is something I can help students with, having done the A level myself.
