About Iona
For any up and coming artist knowing the history of Art is the key to success and allows you to challenge yourself. I am a graduated from UAL, my previous student is now attending UAL also she said she felt our lessons helped her write a great personal statement but also helped her push herself as an artist to try different medias and to learn about new techniques. When you learn the history behind art you allow yourself to be inspired by great artists that came before you and witness how they impacted on our general society

I am a free lance sculptor, a mum to a 1 year old and a tutor I enjoy teaching young people to discover their passions for their creative side but also to challenge their academic side. In most art related subjects the piece it's self is only a small amount of the work, the main part to being a successful artist is your discovery of what and who influences you and your style of work and how you are able to apply that to your work or to write it down in a sketchbook or research journal. My style of teaching will to find out what it is that inspires you and then teach you about how that relates to other artist modern and historical but also how that has impacted the past and the present and possibly the future.
