About Hazel
I am a recent Law LLB graduate from University College London. I have been teaching in different forms for around 6 years, both online and in-person, primarily focusing on English.
I studied English at A-level, so I am familiar with the curriculum and style of examination. I've had a great passion for literature, essay writing and poetry for most of my life, but also have experience in Economics, History and Philosophy/Religious Studies. I have experience coaching a wide variety of students aged between 9 and 18, as I also prepare students for the 11+ and am a uniformed cadet instructor.

My initial lessons involve really getting to know my students, since everybody learns best through different approaches. Our sessions will be tailored around targeting specific weaknesses or worries, be it essay writing, analysing text, writing structure etc. We will explore tips and techniques to craft high quality answers and successfully analyse both set and hidden texts. I am patient and softly spoken to maintain a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
I also offer conversation-based sessions for those learning English as a foreign language at all levels, developing skills in pronunciation, listening, conversing with native speakers and overall language development.
