About Igor
I read Physics at University College London and hold an MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris, where I graduated near the top of my cohort. I am now waiting to start work on a physical commodities trading desk in London in June 2027.
Over the past four years I have built a tutoring practice exceeding 2,000 hours, taking students in Maths, Physics, Economics and Business from GCSE through to undergraduate level. I cover IB Economics and Business, A-Level and IGCSE, and I teach the technical rigour of Physics and Maths alongside the applied reasoning that Economics and Business examiners actually reward.
My students improve because I work backwards from the mark scheme. I know exactly where marks are won and lost, how to structure answers under time pressure, and how to convert partial understanding into full-credit responses. I also lecture on AI in education at the "Children for a Better World" conferences for IB students.
I am a native Russian speaker and fluent in English, so I can also tutor across both languages.

Lessons are built around timed practice under exam conditions, followed by targeted feedback on where marks were dropped and precisely how to recover them. You receive personal notes and worked explanations after each session.
Sessions run from 1 to 2 hours and are tailored to the student's exam board and target grade. I teach GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB and undergraduate students across Maths, Physics, Economics and Business.
