In my English tutoring approach, I prioritize personalized learning by thoroughly assessing each student's needs and setting clear, achievable goals. I conduct interactive sessions that are tailored specifically to the IB curriculum, ensuring that each student gets the support they need. Drawing from my experience of scoring a 7 in IB HL English Language and Literature, I provide clear, detailed explanations, engaging practice exercises, and constructive feedback to help deepen understanding and boost confidence.
In addition to helping with content comprehension, I offer support with editing HL essays to refine arguments and improve writing quality. I also grade practice exams to provide insightful feedback and aid in preparation for the Individual Oral (IO), helping students develop their presentation skills and organize their thoughts effectively. Sessions typically last 60 minutes but can be adjusted to fit individual preferences. My goal is to make learning IB English a positive and rewarding experience, helping students excel in both SL and HL and achieve their academic goals with confidence.
