About Emily
I am a second year biochemistry student at UCLA. I have taken the biology and chemistry prerequisites already. I got a 5 on the AP Biology exam and also studied for the USABO exam. I also worked as an Algebra teaching assistant for the Academic Talent Development Program at UC Berkeley.

My teaching style is to be patient, and guide students in their thinking instead of telling them the answers outright. First, I want my students to learn the basic concepts and then apply their knowledge to activities and practice problems in order to solidify understanding and find the missing gaps.
