About Hridaya
I’m a medical student at the University of East Anglia with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Having gone through the medical school application process myself, I understand how challenging and overwhelming it can feel.
I want to teach because I enjoy supporting students, building their confidence, and helping them realise their potential. Whether it’s preparing for medical interviews or supporting GCSE students, I find it rewarding to break down complex ideas, encourage questions, and see students grow in both understanding and self-belief.
Teaching allows me to combine my academic knowledge with empathy, patience, and encouragement, and to make a real, positive difference in students’ journeys.

My teaching is student-centred, supportive, and structured. I focus on understanding how each student learns best and adapt my teaching style accordingly. I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I start by identifying strengths, gaps, and goals
Break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps
Use active questioning to check understanding rather than passive listening
For medical interviews: structured answer frameworks, mock interviews, targeted feedback, and confidence-building
For GCSE subjects: exam-focused teaching, clear explanations, and practice questions
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, which allows enough time for teaching, practice, and feedback
Longer sessions can be arranged for interview preparation or exam revision if needed
