About Simone arora
I am an aspiring writer and poet. I have been writing and performing slam poetry for the last 7 years. I am also an undergrad mass media student. I love literature and the history behind it. I believe that poetry must be enjoyed and cherished by all; it teaches us valuable life lessons and must not be overlooked.

Like Robin Williams said in the dead poet's society, "medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for."
My class is intended for all students learning the english language and literature till grade 12, beginner level poets, poem history enthusiasts and everyone who wants to learn and get better at literature.
I will be discussing classic literature and poetry ranging from the works of sylvia plath, percy bysshe shelley, leo tolstoy and the likes.
In order to understand poetry and works of fiction, one must understand the writer who breathes life into said work. My focus
would be on making the students understand the undertones of classic literature in a way that is palatable.
English Grammar would be taught using charts and patterns so as to make the students understand the concept thoroughly.
The classes would be engaging and full of conversation and discussions.
The classes are intended for middle school english students and above.
