About Pari
Hi! My name is Pari and I’m a freshman at the University of Wisconsin–Madison studying Computer Science and Data Science with a passion for helping students reach their academic goals. Throughout high school, I challenged myself with advanced coursework in mathematics, science, English, and computer science while also gaining hands-on tutoring experience as a Math and Reading Tutor at Kumon and a peer tutor for high school students in math and science.
I enjoy working with students of all learning styles and believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. My tutoring experience has taught me the importance of being patient, adaptable, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
Outside of tutoring, I've been actively involved in research, STEM organizations, and leadership roles that have strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. I look forward to helping students gain confidence, achieve their academic goals, and develop skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom.

I offer personalized online tutoring for middle and high school students in math, English, science, and SAT/ACT preparation (all levels and classes). As a tutor, I'm patient, encouraging, and willing to explain a concept in different ways until we find the approach that makes the most sense for the student. I believe tutoring should go beyond getting the right answer—I want students to understand why something works and develop strategies they can eventually use on their own.
My goal is to help students build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing answers. During each lesson, I explain concepts step by step, teach effective strategies for approaching problems, review homework and class notes, provide targeted practice questions and topic quizzes, and go over solutions in detail. Depending on each student's needs, our sessions can also include preparing for upcoming tests, including the SAT and ACT, and I recommend high-quality online resources for additional practice.
Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to meet students where they are, help them discover how they learn best, and give them the confidence and skills to keep improving even outside of our tutoring sessions. Whether you're looking to improve grades, prepare for an upcoming exam, or strengthen your understanding of challenging topics, I'm committed to helping you succeed at your own pace.
