About Imogen
I am so passionate about literature and reading, and want to help you achieve your goals within this area! I understand that high-school, particularly VCE subjects, can be daunting, so I am here to help! Having recently navigated the challenges of VCE in 2024, I can provide you with relevant and up-to-date exam techniques, coping strategies and general assistance. I am currently studying Architecture with a specialisation of Design History at the University of Melbourne, so if you choose me as a tutor you will be able to stand out in your writing and textual analysis by gaining insight into different approaches towards texts.

Typical lessons will run for an hour, but I am more than happy to facilitate longer or shorter sessions if needed. Within VCE literature, it's especially important that lessons are catered to the specific texts you are currently studying. We will begin by conducting a close reading of the text, analyzing its nuances and then putting this into practice through tried and tested exam techniques. Having achieved a study score of 50 in 2024, I am familiar with what is required for you to reach your goals within this subject. For earlier primary literacy, phonetics and reading are the priority to lay a strong foundation for literary development. Regarding high-school English, I will assist with methods for approaching homework, and provide vital information for paragraph construction and textual development.
