About Abby
My name is Abby and I am an undergraduate student currently studying English Literature at Cardiff University. Once I graduate I am interested in pursuing a job in investigative journalism. I am interested in tutoring because I want students to feel more engaged and comfortable with their curriculum, developing their own critical thinking skills and tackling topics they may not be able to receive in such depth in the classroom. Having been a student myself I know how overwhelming it can be to learn so much exam content, so I would like to tailor my tutoring to each student's individual needs and way of learning to ensure they understand the content in a way that best works for them and feel confident with the topics they are revising. I prioritise building personal relationships with each student and would make sure we have fun while learning - something schools often lack.

I pride myself on forging positive relationships with students and tailor engaging sessions on an individual basis to suit preferred modes of learning. As a young tutor, my own experience of formal exams is recent and therefore relevant, enabling me to offer meaningful skills to navigate exams at GCSE and A-level.
