About Nicola
Having tutored in the past, I realised how rewarding it is to see students progress and excel in their subjects after all the hard work they’ve put in. Being a tutor I’ve realised isn’t only about the teaching but also the connection you develop with each student along their journey, which is something that always stays with you.
In general, I consider myself to be a very friendly and approachable person which I can only hope will make for enjoyable and relaxed tutoring sessions, whilst also delving into challenging topics that push students to be their best.

Throughout my sessions I will use an adaptive lesson plan tailored to your needs to build confidence in areas of weakness, and help you achieve the results you want. This will include easy to understand breakdowns of topics, followed by practice questions and exam techniques, ensuring you know exactly what the examiners are looking for.
I am currently studying Economics and Politics at the University of Exeter and have had 2 years of tutoring experience, so I am confident in my ability to grasp and explain complex economic theory. I am also the Academic Secretary of the Economics Society at University. My aim throughout all my lessons is to build confidence and get students excited, and passionate about the subject, which is the key to succeeding.
