About Kitty
I am 22 years old and in my final year at Newcastle University studying Classical Studies. I have been learning Classics since I was around the age of 8, and it has kept my interest ever since. I am writing a dissertation currently on the different aspects of the material culture and art found in Pompeii and Herculaneum, which is one of my key interests. I got As in both Classical Civilisation and English in my A-Levels, and additionally at GCSE.

My approach to tutoring is student centred, focusing on active engagement and discussion. I emphasise critical thinking, close text analysis, and regular recall for reinforcement. I break complex ideas into manageable parts and tailor lessons to each student's needs, using a mix of activities, past exam practice, and quizzes. Typical lessons last 1 hour. I have good knowledge of GCSE, A-Level, and Higher content, and can support students of many levels. I ensure lessons are interactive, helpful, and focused on exam preparation. Students can expect regular feedback, homework, and support beyond lessons.
