About Freya
My name is Freya and I'm an undergraduate student of Modern Languages at University with high A-level and GCSE grades in both French and German. I was born in Germany and as a result know lots about the culture and have seen the importance of being fluent in a foreign language first-hand. As a student, I feel that I can use my own experience to be a better, more understanding teacher.

I aim to be a friendly and understanding teacher and hope to help my pupils feel more confident in their language(s) and gain enjoyment in language learning, so that they ultimately see improvement in their work and grades! Typically, I teach lessons of 45 minutes to 1 hour, tailored to the pupil's needs and wishes, with emphasis on whichever skill(s) they feel they need the most help with.

Freya has been the best French teacher I could ever ask for over the past few months. We started our sessions at the end of February before my GCSE’s and in that short period my grade and confidence around the language skyrocketed. She created activities to cater specifically to my needs and was very flexible in regards to what we did during our sessions. I honestly couldn’t recommend her more.
