About Jon
I hold an undergraduate degree in Geology + Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen, as well as a Masters degree in Micropalaeontology (small fossils) from the University of Birmingham! I've studied Geology for over 9 years.
I have a variety of tutoring experience - I have worked with schools providing 1-1 and group science tutoring at GCSE and A-level for disadvantaged pupils, or those with learning difficulties.
I also have experience in private university level tuition of Geology.

I have been friends and colleagues with Jon in the past since school. Jon has a knack for explaining complex concepts to people who are struggling and often can show different ways of approaching a problem to help find the best way for someone to understand it.
Jon is an excellent communicator and tailors his teaching to meet the learning style of the person. I was recently diagnosed with dyslexia and Jon has helped me to learn in ways that coincide with the way that I comprehend information.
