About Sonia
I am an undergraduate student, studying psychology. I wish to become a psychotherapist or health psychologist. My degree consists of many modules, one including statistical testing. It always reminds me of the golden days at A-level, where I studied maths, constantly trying to prove to myself that I will become an evil genius after answering questions correctly. Jokes aside, I am very easy going and will not pressure you at all during lessons. I have quite a witty sense of humour, so our lessons will be very chill whilst somehow being intense. It is mathematics after all. I aim to help students the best I can whilst promoting some revision techniques that I came up with over the course of my time studying at A-level.

I tend to make my first lessons about you, the student! Tell me what you enjoy, what you dislike about the subject, what is difficult and what you do well. From there I will try my best to create lessons catered to you, including items on the syllabus you are learning from, as well as techniques to revise more efficiently, ways to remember all those boring rules and ways to cope with the exceeding difficulty you will face as months pass. I like to make it so that the student leads the lessons, so I just lead you into answering your own questions in a way. If you are stuck, I will prime you into getting the right answer so that you are actively engaging with the work to gain confidence. It is not me helping you, it is you helping you
