About Karmen
I am an undergraduate student from Washington State University. I have been playing the trumpet for 10 years now and majoring in trumpet at the university level. I have worked as a percussion and brass instructor at a local high school marching band. I have been involved in the top ensembles at WSU and honor bands around the state. I love teaching and working with students. I aspire to be a teacher to work with whatever level you are given and grow them.

I have worked with grades 5th- 12th grade for about 3 years now. Learning to play an instrument is so much more than just making a sound or sounding good. I want to provide students with a well-rounded education through lessons and grow the students from where they are!
