About Vlad
I am 3rd year Chemistry student and I find the subject extraordinarily interesting. Chemistry was my starting point in science and since then I also liked Physics and Maths. I also studied playing the piano for 15 years and now occasionally play in my spare time. I strongly believe that combination of different activities leads to more uniform brain development and results in greater creativity in all other fields such as science, music, sport etc.

I have been tutoring for 3 years, seeking for various approaches to light up a spark of curiosity in students for how every single object in the Universe is described using ubiquitous Physics Laws. Matter is made up of atoms, which themselves are too complicated to be studied using Physics, so Chemistry comes into play describing molecular structure. Mathematics is at the heart of all Science, since it is the only known (at least for now) mean of predicting quantitatively what is going to happen, given initial conditions of any system, be it Physics, Chemistry, Economics or Astronomy.
My teaching style is to tell about the topic, with real-world examples and to engage a student into active thinking, either by asking for his examples and by making him solve problems during a lesson. A homework is given at the end of each lesson to ensure that student on his own is able to solve similar problems and to refresh the topic in his free time without a stress and hurry.
Typical lesson is 1 hour, as this is maximum amount of time during which one can keep concentration without a break in the middle. 40 minutes is not enough, I assure you.
