About Semira
I am a second-year undergraduate student at Yale University studying History with strong writing and analytical skills that are demonstrated by rigorous coursework, as well as my extracurricular commitments.
I have had my writing published by the Yale Human Rights Journal and Public Citizen, a non-profit consumer protection lobby that I interned for in Summer 2022.
Outside of my coursework, I am a research assistant at Yale Law School’s Law and Racial Justice Center and the Yale Institute for Social and Policy Studies. Additionally, I serve as Undersecretary General of International Recruitment for the Yale Model African Union.

Lessons are tailored to the unique needs of students. During most sessions, we will be doing the homework assigned to the student together and going over materials (essays, math problems, etc.) that the student has already prepared.
Essay writing sessions can focus on all aspects of the writing process, including brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising/editing.
Additional instructional will materials be provided on an as-needed basis.
