About Nafisa
My name is Nafisa, I'm 18 and I currently study Biology at the University of Oxford. I am from London but originally from Bangladesh and Portugal :) Apart from my degree, I am a Welfare and Social Officer for the ISOC which enables me to coordinate amazing events as well as check on my friends' wellbeings :) I also enjoy doing artsy projects but having said that, I'm not creative at all (but I'm trying!) I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy it so much and it is really fulfilling for me. I love being invested in my students and being useful to them and providing them with all the academic support they need. I also want to pursue teaching or research in the future so tutoring enables me to pursue my passions early on!

For my lessons, I focus on teaching, absorbing and consolidating content before practising a variety of questions. Having recently sat A-Levels and practised many GCSE and A-Level papers, I know exactly what content is tested and how the mark scheme wants you to approach questions. I also know how to revise well so I can help you create a multitude of useful revision tools and tactics :) My lessons can be anything from 1-2 hours, depending on the student's pace and what is most effective and useful for them. I currently have 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s at GCSE as well as 2 A* and A in Biology, Psychology and Maths respectively. I have tutored for the past 4 years; I taught group lessons of 30 students for GCSEs. Additionally, I have tutored in A-Level biology for the past year. I can teach all sciences, maths and English up to GCSE level and A-Level Biology.
