About Jean-Marie
I'm Jean-Marie, a commercial pilot and flight instructor with 10 years of experience, based in Dubai. I have trained many pilots and worked in a multicultural airline environment, where communication and teamwork are essential every single day.
Teaching is my passion. I love taking complex topics and making them simple, practical and enjoyable. I believe anyone can understand aviation with the right explanations, and that CRM skills are valuable not only in the cockpit but in any team.
I teach in English and French, so I can support students in either language. Whether you're dreaming of becoming a pilot, preparing for an airline interview, or simply passionate about aviation, I'd be happy to share my experience with you.

Have you ever wondered how a plane really flies, or what makes a great airline crew? My online lessons make aviation clear and accessible, whether you're curious about flying, a student pilot, a future cabin crew member, or an aviation professional.
I offer two main areas:
General principles of aviation: how aircraft fly (lift, drag, thrust, weight), aircraft systems, basic meteorology, navigation and how airline operations work. I explain everything simply, with real examples from the cockpit.
Crew Resource Management (CRM): communication, teamwork, decision-making, leadership, workload management, situational awareness and threat and error management. These skills are essential for pilots and crew, and they are a key part of airline assessments and interviews.
Each lesson is adapted to your level and goals, with real-life scenarios, case studies of actual incidents and interactive discussion. All lessons take place online via Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, and I share notes and materials after each session.
Please note: these lessons are for knowledge, preparation and personal development. They do not replace official training or provide licence credit.
