I have my BA in Liberal Studies. I have been tutoring first year students at UCR navigate throughout college. I have helped first year students adapt to the college environment by helping them learn new ways to study and write essays.

My teaching method is bringing academic concepts to life. I believe it is easier to understand material when it is visualized, it helps the students understand the material and it builds team work. Another method would be participation. It is important for students as well as the tutor/teacher to engage with one another because it creates a safe environment.
