About Emma
My passion for tutoring began in high school, where I helped peers working through difficult Maths subjects, and it only grew from there. At Tufts University, I became the Head Tutor at the Academic Resource Center and worked with students in a wide variety of disciplines. This role was instrumental in shaping my tutoring approach, which is to build individualized relationships with students to better understand their needs and learning preferences. I’ve continued this personalized approach in all my tutoring experiences, from working with students on complex social theory to helping them draft and edit essays. With now over a decade of experience, I believe that tutoring isn’t just about mastering a subject, but about fostering confidence and finding joy in the learning process.

Whether I’m helping students with their reading, writing, or analytical abilities, I aim to make every session engaging and tailored to their unique learning style, ensuring students feel confident in their progress and motivated to learn.
