About Stephanie
I am a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh where I studied Psychology (MA Hons). I completed several Maths and Statistics modules throughout university.
I achieved consistently high grades in Maths throughout high school in National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher (in which I achieved the second highest mark overall in my year). I also have experience in helping friends, family, classmates, and children I have babysat with Maths.
As well as studying human behaviour, my degree allowed me to study how we learn, including memory retention and different learning styles, which will allow me to tailor each tutor session to the individual and their needs.

After gauging the student's current confidence in the subject, I will tailor the lessons to focus on the topics they find most challenging. We will cover the basics, then build up to more difficult applications and questions. I also like to focus on building confidence for exams through past paper questions. By creating an open and friendly environment, questions and concerns from the student will be encouraged and welcomed.
