About Brennan
I am an engineering student at the University of Florida with over two years of tutoring experience, helping students from Pre-Algebra to Calculus 3 and Differential Equations. Throughout my academic journey, I have earned straight A’s in all of my math courses, which reflects both my understanding of the material and my commitment to academic excellence. My teaching approach focuses on making math concepts clear, approachable, and engaging. I combine step by step explanations, visual aids, and real-world examples to ensure students understand both the “how” and the “why” behind each problem. I encourage active participation, asking students to solve problems, explain their reasoning, and ask questions freely, creating a supportive and confidence-building learning environment. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace and goals. Typically, we start with a brief review of previous material, introduce new concepts with guided practice, and then work on independent problems with feedback. Lessons conclude with a summary and suggested practice exercises to reinforce learning. I am dedicated to helping students not only succeed in their courses but also develop a genuine understanding and appreciation of math. I work with middle and high school students on Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus, as well as college students on Calculus 1, 2, 3, and Differential Equations. I also offer focused support in test preparation, homework help, and problem-solving strategies. With both experience and strong academic results, I aim to provide professional, reliable, and effective math tutoring while inspiring confidence and fostering a positive learning experience for every student.

Lesson Plans Each lesson begins with a brief review of previously covered material to reinforce learning. Next, we introduce new concepts using examples and guided practice. Students then work on problems independently while I provide immediate feedback and clarification. Finally, we summarize key takeaways and outline practice exercises for continued learning. Lessons are flexible and adapted to the student’s pace, strengths, and areas that need extra support. What sets me apart I bring over two years of tutoring experience along with a strong academic record, having earned straight A’s in my math courses. Beyond explaining formulas, I focus on helping students build deep understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
