About Alicia
My name is Alicia and I am a 1st year university student who studies Maths. Through doing my GCSE’s and A-levels, I discovered that I was truly fascinated by maths and how one question could have so many different ways of going about it. My maths teachers always used to tell me that maths is the easiest subject because there is always a solid right answer, you don’t have to try and persuade anyone that your answer is right like some of the humanities subjects. I want to tutor because I want to help others understand the beauty behind maths the way I do.

I would approach tutoring the same way I would to revise for an assessment. Past Papers! I personally believe that past papers are a great way to understand the style of questions you would be faced with in an exam. If there are any queries whilst doing the past paper, eg; on a particular topic, I would thoroughly explain the concepts and maybe even give alternative ways to go about the problem. I would preferably want to tutor GCSE Mathematics students. I am a University of Glasgow student who is studying Maths, Economics and Social Public Policy. I have done Maths and additional Maths at GCSE level and Maths and further Maths at A-levels.
