About Charlotte
I’m genuinely passionate about helping students feel confident in English. I know that exams and academic writing can feel overwhelming, so I focus on making complex ideas understandable and giving students practical tools they can use straight away. I take a calm, patient approach and adapt my teaching style to each student—whether they need structured exam preparation, support with reading confidence, or someone to guide them through essays step by step. I graduated from McGill University and have since worked in roles that rely heavily on strong communication, clear writing and analytical thinking. Tutoring allows me to share these skills with students at different stages of their academic journey, from school learners preparing for exams to international students adjusting to academic English. I care about progress, but I also care about mindset. I work hard to build a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving week by week. My goal is simple: to help students become confident, independent thinkers who know how to express themselves clearly.

Qualifications and Experience - I am a university graduate (McGill University) with a strong academic background in research, analysis and academic writing. - I have professional experience in journalism/editing, academic communication and tutoring. - I specialise in English exam preparation and academic literacy skills used at school and university level.
