Tim has been my favourite lecturer this term at uni. He is down to earth, but also very knowledgable and helpful about subjects realted to politics, sociology and history in particular.

Tim has been really helpful for me this year in developing my confidence and writing skills. I am a student at Essex university and Tim has been my lecturer all term on the sociology module Crime Policy and Social Justice. The lectures have been really eye opening and have really expanded my thinking.

Tim has been a great teacher for me all year on my class at university studying criminology and social justice. He was always on hand to answer questions I had about assesments. He is super friendly and approachable. He really kickstarted my passion for the topic.

Tim is an incredible teacher and mentor. He has helped me a great deal this year, acting as my dissertation supervisor at university. He is very knowledgable about lots of topics across the whole of the social sciences. Tim's style of support is very patient, understanding and caring, he has saved me in a few very difficult moments throughout my studies!

Tim has been a great teacher and tutor for me all term. He was my lecturer on my postgraduate Criminology module this term and helped me out in particular with my dissertation topic. He is very knowledgeable and approachable and really great at breaking down information into ways that are easier to understand. I can't reccomend Tim enough as a tutor.

I have worked with Tim, teaching at a Cambridge University based summer school for five years, and have attended his politics seminars at the University of Essex, where he now teaches. Tim is an enthusiastic teacher who cares deeply about the academic development of his students, and he works tirelessly to make sure his lessons are well-tailored to his students' needs. Tim has taught on our Politics & International Relations course on our academic summer programs for international teenagers in Cambridge for several years. Tim takes time and care to craft his lessons and works hard to engage young people in the topics covered. Tim is passionate about teaching and consistently receives positive feedback.
