About Alexander
I was often inspired by the dedication of teachers in my secondary school in Lincolnshire, who demonstrated the importance of quality education for all people. This made me want to help the students, who I was once in the same position as, to achieve all that they can. I have gone through the GCSE and A-Level process so I understand the perspective of the students and how to help them. I believe that it is crucially important for the teacher to understand the student so I always treat students as individuals so I am able to tailor my teaching to their needs.

As a 3rd year chemistry student at Oxford University, I tutor chemistry and maths at GCSE and A-Level standard. A typical lesson is an hour long with an equal mixture of teaching, assessing and reviewing. I teach with an emphasis on practice questions and reviewing past questions. I will guide you through questions and topics that you don't understand and give you more practice to build your confidence.
