About Ann
I am a Data Science graduate and current Master's student in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pennsylvania. I have a strong academic and professional background in mathematics, programming, data analysis, and problem-solving, and I genuinely enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts.
As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and committed to meeting students where they are. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach rather than expecting everyone to learn the same way. My goal is to build both understanding and confidence while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I take my responsibility as a tutor seriously and will always come prepared, organized, and focused on helping each student make meaningful progress.

I believe the best tutoring goes beyond memorizing formulas or following steps—it helps students understand *why* something works. My approach is personalized to each student's learning style, goals, and current level. I break challenging concepts into manageable pieces, work through problems together, and encourage students to develop their own problem-solving strategies rather than simply giving them the answer.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and am currently pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pennsylvania. I also work professionally as a Data Analyst, giving me extensive experience with mathematics, statistics, programming, SQL, Python, and analytical problem-solving.
I am happy to work with middle school, high school, and college students, whether you're looking for help understanding foundational concepts, preparing for an exam, completing challenging coursework, or developing stronger problem-solving skills. My goal is to make difficult material feel approachable while still challenging students to think critically and independently.
