About Leesha
Hi! I'm Leesha, an Actuarial Science student at the University of Pretoria with a strong passion for Mathematics, Statistics, and helping others learn. I know that these subjects can often feel overwhelming, which is why I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
My goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand by breaking them down into clear, simple steps and adapting my teaching style to each student's individual needs. I believe that every student is capable of succeeding with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement.
I offer patient, well-prepared lessons for high school and first-year university students, whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, improving their grades, or strengthening their understanding of key concepts. I place a strong emphasis on developing problem-solving skills and helping students understand the "why" behind each method, rather than simply memorising formulae.
