About Amirah

I’m a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic medical student with a strong passion for biology. I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts and develop confidence in their knowledge. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, using clear explanations and engaging examples. My goal is to make biology enjoyable, accessible, and help students achieve their academic goals.

About the lesson

- typical length of lesson: 1.5 - 2 hours
- I have previously tutored two students GCSE science
- teaching/lesson style is as follows: begin lesson with exam questions on prior lesson as a recap, before going through content and engaging with student throughout. I will end the lesson with a quiz on the lesson learnt and always end with annotating and going through a difficult exam question
- lessons include going through exam technique and how to tackle hard exam questions.
