About Aryan
Bonjour! I am currently a student at the University of British Columbia, in Canada, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of the Arts, though I currently reside in Mumbai due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am an IB graduate, with lots of experience helping High School students with the IGCSE, and IB French B, both at Standard and Higher Level. I have also helped both peers and students of mine with practising and perfecting their conversational French. I have been formally helping students with French since 2019, at High School and University, but my passion for both French, and learning languages, extends far further back!

Actuellement, je suis un étudiant à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique, au Canada, où je poursuis un baccalauréat en arts, bien que j’habite à Mumbai, à cause de la pandémie coronavirus. J’ai passé le baccalauréat international en 2020, et j’ai beaucoup d’expérience avec aider les lycéens avec le IGCSE et the BI ; les élèves de niveau moyenne et aussi de niveau supérieur. J’ai aussi aidé mes pairs et élèves en pratiquant et en perfectionnant leur français parlé. I try to tailor my tutoring to the specific needs of a student, however most often I find that students I tutor have a hard time grasping and understanding what is taught in class. I help simplify and demystify grammatical concepts, and analogize them to native languages for a particular student (English, Spanish, and Hindi) and can help with specific assignments, problems, and queries that a student has. For the IGCSE, and the International Baccaleureate, I have experience with common questions and assessment types and can help students prepare for those and structure their French thinking for efficient response. For more logically-minded students, I can help approach the language in a more simplified and logic-based manner based around templates of speech and patterns, while for people who enjoy the language more, I am fluent in speaking French, and can help students practise concepts and understand naturally.
