About Banan
I am an African Studies and Linguistics student who has been giving private lessons for 3 students for the past 2 years specifically in the English A-level and AS-level curriculum. I am currently about to embark on my final year of university on track to achieve a first class Bachelor of Arts. I have consistently achieved high firsts in all modules regarding my chosen subject and achieved As in my A-Levels.

My teaching method requires students to have read the text (be it poem or novel or play) beforehand. We then discuss in overview the themes and main characters (or narrator if there is only one character), and look at some key quotes that can be used in an exam to make a point. Afterwards we look at the exam board specification and discuss how to make sure each assessment objective is reached.

Banan has been a professional and reliable tutor over the last few months, and she has really helped my younger sister improve her standard of writing, as well as her overall grade in English Literature.
Banan is one of the most charismatic people I know and is so friendly and compassionate! If you are her student, you will be very well looked after!! Studying can be stressful and I know that there are a lot of tutors who can be intimidating and make tutoring much more traumatic than it needs to be! That will not be the case with Banan! She is understanding and caring and will help you feel confident in your studies! I would definitely recommend her!
