About Mary
I am a university student obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in French and Journalism. I have earned my bilingual certificate in French, my native tongue is English. I have previous experience tutoring my peers as well as younger students in elementary school.

I believe the essentials of French to be having a good foundation in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Therefore, my teaching is rigorous in verb conjugation and reading to help expand the vocabulary of the student and naturally introduce them into more advanced French.
I also believe conversational French to be an important starting point and foundation as it gives the learner a good way of grasping the flow of the language. I will therefore also have many exercises on basic phrase structure and conversational French phrases.
My tutoring sessions are open to students from kindergarten through high school, as well as anyone in the beginner or intermediate level who would like to improve or begin their knowledge and comprehension of the French language.
