About Lorena
I am a student at the UB in the Literary Studies degree and have been studying Catalan since I was three years old. I have not taught yet, but I have helped colleagues in this area and my knowledge has helped them to pass. My GPA for the subject ranges from 7 to 8 so I think it might help.

My methodology would be adapted to the needs of each student taking into account the areas in which they need the most help. For reading comprehension, I would try to adapt the readings to the liking of the students, so that they are not too heavy and would make them underline the words that they did not understand in the text, so that they could look them up in the dictionary and write them on a separate sheet. all to consult whenever they need it. For the written expression I would suggest summarizing the texts they have read in their own words and for grammar I would use the texts they have written and do some dictation. The most important thing for me is that the student does not get overwhelmed or feel too bored during the classes, so I would try to make them as dynamic as possible.

Lorena es una chica muy organizada en los métodos de estudio. Además es activa lingüísticamente y siempre está en contacto con el inglés y otras lenguas como el alemán por ejemplo, así que tiene un buenísimo nivel tanto oral como escrito. A mí me ha enseñado mucho y siempre que me surge una duda sé que puedo acudir a ella porque sabe mucho y se explica muy bien.
Es una gran profesora por su alto nivel de inglés tanto en gramática como en vocabulario, ya sea a través de metáforas o alternativas a frases comunes para mejorar las redacciones
