About Sophia
My name is Sophia, I am currently studying medicine as a first year. During my studies, I have tutored various types of students, for more than 300 hours of experience: young children, teens, college students, adults, and with all sorts of difficulties, from basics to more complex concepts. I am convinced we will work well together! I have learned a lot during these past years of experience, and while I don't pretend to have all the answers, I am sure I will be able to work with you and offer the best support you can get, with extra tips for exam taking and preparation.

As a tutor with more than 300 hours of experience in French, Math, Chemistry, Physics and English tutoring, from elementary to college level studies, I am equipped to help you succeeding. As a tutor, I will work as a team with you as to hone your skills and focus on what will help you succeed. During our lesson, we will follow your needs (help with homework, exam preparation, etc): you are the one who decides what we will work on. I will pinpoint the basic concepts that I see you have more difficulty with and strengthen your basic skills needed to move further - and that are stopping you right now. If needed, I will supply extra examples. As the tutee, you are the one who has the power to improve and I'm here to help you on that path.
I have experience with tutees ages of 7 - 40 years old. I have tutored newly arrived immigrants in French, as well as anglophon students.
