About Dane
Hello! I'm Dane Bowgen, a 27-year-old musician, English teacher, and passionate guitarist with an insatiable love for music and education. With a background in private guitar instruction from 2017 to 2020 and English education, I've also explored thrilling experiences, including composing for commercial use and performing with local cover bands and original groups in Joinville and the Clacton-On-Sea areas since 2012.
Teaching Philosophy: My teaching philosophy revolves around creating personalised and engaging lessons that cater to each student's individual learning style and aspirations. By seamlessly blending academic resources and course materials with my creative approach, I instill a deep appreciation for music and foster a harmonious relationship between discipline and creativity.
An Exciting Journey in Music: As an active member of the original Math Rock band "Prang," I am currently basking in the joy of releasing our debut EP in 2023. Our exhilarating performances and the creative process of crafting unique music fuel my desire to share the magic of music with aspiring guitarists like you.
Mastering the Art of Music Production: With a profound understanding of Logic Pro since the age of 16, I've honed my skills in music production and composition. This technical expertise empowers me to guide you through the intricacies of creating captivating melodies and soundscapes.
Embracing the World of Video Games: Apart from music, I indulge in another passion: video games. Drawing inspiration from the captivating realm of gaming, I'm currently immersing myself in the art of video game music creation using FMOD and Unreal Engine.
