About Anna Marie

Hailing from Ukraine, I am an artist driven by the art of infusing characters with vitality and guiding others along this creative journey. My time in the United States led me to a fortuitous opportunity – receiving mentorship from some of Disney's finest animators, an experience that profoundly shaped my artistic path. Following my graduation, I swiftly transitioned into in-studio work, immersing myself in the very essence of the animation world.

Collaboration has a special place in my heart, consistently fueling my inspiration. It's through these collaborative efforts that I discovered the magic of teaching. The act of imparting knowledge awakens my innate curiosity for experimentation – an aspect that infuses a vibrant energy into my classes.

Come, be part of an artistic voyage where passion knows no bounds. Together, we'll explore the captivating art of animation, and in doing so, uncover new dimensions of creativity that make learning an exhilarating endeavor.

About the lesson

Crafting a personalized and impactful learning experience is at the heart of what I offer. With a focus on the core principles of animation, engaging hands-on projects, insightful workflow demonstrations, and invaluable constructive feedback, my lessons are designed to ignite your creative journey.

Each lesson is a dynamic 1 hour 30-minute session, ensuring ample time for comprehensive learning and practice.

Drawing from my current role as a traditional character animator on a feature film, as well as my experience assisting a Disney animator in 2D animation sessions, tutoring the Fundamentals of Art and Design for over 3 years, and serving as a peer tutor at SCAD, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to the table.

My instructional approach caters to both beginners and intermediate artists, fostering an environment of growth and artistic exploration. Whether you're looking to infuse life into your art or discover fresh avenues of self-expression, my lessons are tailored to individuals aged 16 and above.

Join me in unraveling the captivating world of animation, where each stroke of the pencil holds the potential to breathe life into your imagination.

Anna is absolutely amazing. We studied and worked together at SCAD, and she tutored me when I needed help with design and illustration. So even as a fellow professional I had so much to learn from her. Anna is kind, patient, and very giving. Furthermore, she has excellent work ethic and she is extremely hardworking.
