My teaching approach for piano is designed to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I focus on communication, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. I believe that understanding the student’s needs is essential for effective learning, so I adapt my lessons based on their goals and interests.
Flexibility is key in my methodology. I tailor lessons to fit each student's skill level, whether they are beginners or more advanced. I incorporate various styles, including classical, jazz, pop, and R&B, so students can explore what they love most.
Creativity plays a big role in my lessons. I encourage students to experiment with their own music, compose pieces, and interpret songs in their unique ways. I also teach relevant subjects like music theory, sight-reading, and improvisation to enhance their overall musicianship.
I hold myself accountable and emphasize integrity in my teaching. This means I strive to be reliable and honest, creating a trusting environment for my students. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for music in every student!
