About Leah
With over 14 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about sharing my love for music, especially piano, with high school and college students. Throughout my career, I have had the joy of teaching around 300 students, each one inspiring me in their unique way.
My journey in music began at a young age, and I have since achieved significant milestones, such as performing at local concerts and collaborating with other musicians. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and my goal is to nurture their skills and confidence.
In my lessons, I focus on creating a supportive environment where students can explore their creativity. I use various teaching techniques to make learning enjoyable and effective. My greatest reward comes from watching my students grow and develop a lifelong passion for music. Let’s embark on this musical journey together!

As a passionate piano tutor, my teaching methodology focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe in **communication** as the cornerstone of effective teaching. I encourage open dialogue, allowing students to express their thoughts and challenges. This helps us work together towards their goals.
I use **real-life examples** to make learning relatable. For instance, I often incorporate popular songs that students enjoy, making practice more enjoyable and motivating. This approach helps them connect what they learn with real-world music experiences.
**Integrity** is essential in my teaching. I foster a trustworthy environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. This encourages a growth mindset.
Additionally, I utilize various **techniques** tailored to individual learning styles, ensuring that each student progresses at their own pace. Alongside piano, I offer instruction in music theory and composition, enriching their understanding of music as a whole. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music in every student!
