For students focused on exams, I offer clear guidance on technique, sight-reading, and theory to ensure success and steady progress. At the same time, I love helping adult learners rediscover the joy of music at their own pace. My lessons include chord voicing, rhythmic grooves, jazz improvisation, and playing by ear, so students can explore music beyond the page. I use a mix of traditional methods and creative tools like backing tracks, visual guides, and interactive apps to make learning dynamic and engaging. We’ll break down songs, explore patterns, and develop your musical ear through hands-on practice. I encourage freedom within structure, so you can learn the rules while also learning to break them musically. I’m a passionate piano tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I specialize in making piano learning accessible, joyful, and personally meaningful for students of all ages. Whether you're just starting or returning to music after a break, I create a supportive space where growth and creativity flourish. I have a strong background working with diverse learners, including students with ADHD and other learning differences. I believe every student learns differently—and that’s something to celebrate, not overcome. My lessons adapt to individual needs using movement-based activities, colorful visual aids, and fun interactive apps that keep learning engaging and focused. We explore rhythm through clapping games, use storytelling to connect with music, and incorporate technology to make practicing feel like play. My teaching is flexible, playful, and rooted in understanding how each student learns best. I love helping students build not only their technique but also their confidence and joy in music.
