About Shreya
I'm a dedicated Computer Engineering (Honors) / Master of Biomedical Engineering student at UNSW with a strong background in math tutoring and content development. As a former curriculum creator for Year 9 exam papers at Cosmos Tutoring Centre, I understand how to tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs. My experience leading community initiatives and participating in STEM programs has sharpened my communication, organization and problem-solving skills. I’m passionate about helping Year 7–10 students build a strong foundation in math and develop confidence through supportive, structured, and challenging lessons.

As a passionate and experienced tutor, I offer structured and engaging Year 7–10 Maths lessons designed to build confidence, accuracy, and exam resilience.
Each 2-hour session is divided into three targeted parts:
- 1 hour of focused teaching, where I explain concepts clearly with real-world examples and step-by-step methods.
- 30 minutes of doubt clearing, reviewing upcoming assessments at school and providing personalised feedback on the previous week’s quiz performance.
- 30 minutes of a challenging quiz, featuring questions designed in the style of selective and top-tier school exams to simulate real testing conditions.
Students also receive customised homework that goes beyond school level to help them develop problem-solving endurance under pressure.
With experience as a curriculum developer/quiz creator for Year 9 Maths at Cosmos Coaching Centre, I bring insight into what makes a question both challenging and rewarding. My lessons are ideal for Years 7–10 students who want to strengthen their maths foundation, get ahead in class, or prepare for high-pressure exams.
