About Fadhlan
I am a passionate teacher who has loved Geography and Urban Planning since my high school time 10 years ago. My education and professional backgrounds have influenced the ways I view and understand how our natural and built environment work. From attending my Year 10-12 near the riverbank in Jakarta (my hometown) which always got flooded after torrential rains, I finally decided to learn urban planning to understand how nature works and how our built environment should respond to it.

My approach in tutoring are:
1. Presenting basic theories using presentation slides
2. Showing websites which provide useful and relevant information (e.g. open Google Earth to show urban sprawl in Melbourne)
3. Typical length of a lesson is 2 hours with 15 minutes break every 1 hour
4. Provide open discussions, questions and answer (QnA) sessions during tutorials
5. I taught Economic Geography, Population Geography and Hazards and Hazard Management for the Indonesian National Training Camp. This was for the annual International Geography Olympiad (2018-2022) and other freelance National Geography Olympiad training sessions.
6. Later on, I also became a Teaching Assistant for Planning Process Studio in Urban and Regional Planning Undergraduate Program at Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia).
7. I usually taught students in Year 10-12, especially those who prepare themselves for the Geography competitions.
