About Silvio
I live in the multicultural community of Monteverde, Costa Rica. After high school I spent thirteen years studying in the USA, where I got a BA in Classics and Mathematics from Grinnell College, an MA in Classics from the University of Georgia, and did six years of study in a PhD program at UCLA. After some changes in my personal priorities, I became less interested in doing academic research and more interested in returning to my hometown, but I still have a passion for languages and helping people learn them.
