About Jordan
Fun fact: I didn't want to be a musician...until the trombone chose me. Since then, I earned my Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from the University of Southern California, and my Master's in Trombone Performance at California State University, Fullerton. I've put those degrees to good use, too: I tour internationally, perform at world-renowned venues from Disney Hall to The Mint, appear in film and television, collaborate with artists ranging from John Daversa to Ginger Root, and have my works published in International Trombone Association Journal. When I'm not doing music, I'm going for walks in my neighborhood, saying "hi" to every dog I see, spending a little too much money at the local coffee shop (What? They have good lavender lattes!) and chilling with my partner and our old cat, Zellie, in our Long Beach home.

I specialize in working with children ages 10 through 17. Here's how I help young musicians become the best they can be: - Provide opportunities to connect with like-minded students, including studio parties (there will be pizza), and other community events. - Opportunities to perform for your community, and guidance on creating those opportunities, such as annual studio recitals and trombone caroling (it’s not scary and actually REALLY fun!). -Opportunities to meet, work with, and pick the brains of music industry professionals (yes, you get to meet famous people). This is all in addition to honing in on the fundamentals of good trombone playing, done in a fun, age-appropriate manner that’s at your pace. Not to mention you’re working with a USC alumnus with 10+ years of music industry experience. Sounds good, right?
