About Eva
Hi! I’m a USC student who enjoys working with students and making learning feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. I’m patient, approachable, and always happy to explain something in a different way if it doesn’t click the first time.
Outside of school, I love watching Pokémon, so if you ever need someone who can explain things without making them feel like a wild Pokémon encounter, I’m your person! I also enjoy music, art, and spending time with family and friends.
I believe learning should feel encouraging rather than stressful, and I’m excited to help students build both their understanding and confidence along the way.

I take a patient, step-by-step approach, making sure students truly understand each concept before moving on. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s personality, learning style, and behavior rather than using the exact same approach for everyone.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing what the student already knows, followed by introducing the new concept in a simple and understandable way. I then work through examples together with the student before having them try problems independently. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and make sure they feel comfortable asking for clarification whenever something is confusing.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain concepts in creative, simple, and relatable ways, especially for younger students. My experience tutoring peers in basic algebra and working with younger students has taught me how to break down difficult ideas into smaller steps and explain them in ways that make sense to the individual student.
My lessons are primarily for elementary school students, with other grade levels or specific subjects available upon request.
