I am currently a PhD student in Economics at the University of South Florida (USF), with a strong background in Actuarial Studies and Computer Science. Tutoring isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion. Throughout my studies, I have found out that people learn at a different pace. The only thing that would disappoint a student more is if his/her teacher thinks s/he should learn faster. I have the patience to tutor a student as long as they do not have a good grasp on handling problems on their own. I can adapt to the students' learning pace; still, maintaining the high standard which will lead to a successful session. Also, I try to use examples based on a student’s background and relate the new things to that to make the subject more digestible.
