My teaching method is centered around an interactive and student-focused approach. I aim to make complex physics and math concepts more understandable by breaking them down into simpler parts and relating them to real-world examples. I use a combination of visual aids, problem-solving exercises, and interactive discussions to ensure students not only understand the material but can also apply it confidently. I incorporate technology and online resources to enhance the learning experience and keep students engaged. My experience as a teaching advisor for undergraduate ordinary differential equations for 3 years has honed my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly and effectively, which translates to all levels of math and physics.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my personalized approach to teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles.
My PhD studies, combined with my background in mechanical engineering from UVA, equips me with a deep understanding of physics and math, which I can convey with clarity and enthusiasm. Additionally, my experience in instructor roles have provided me with valuable insights into effective teaching strategies and student needs. My patience, dedication, and ability to relate to students make learning both effective and enjoyable for my students. I am committed to not only helping students achieve academic success but also fostering a genuine interest and curiosity in the subjects I teach.

My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and undergraduate students who seek to improve their understanding and performance in physics and math. Whether you're a middle school student grappling with basic concepts, a high school student preparing for advanced courses or standardized tests, or an undergraduate student tackling higher-level coursework, my tutoring services are tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. I also welcome students who are passionate about science and math and wish to deepen their knowledge beyond the classroom curriculum.
